Tools of the trade


When I started this project as a one-week jam game one and a half months ago, I didn't imagine that it would eventually become so complex. But when I think of an RPG there are just certain features that I feel must be present: conversations for one.

So, I spent the last few days creating a node based editor for building cutscenes and dialogues. 

I was initially hesitant as I've never tried tools programming for Unity before, but I'm glad to have went through the trouble. 

The result is still very crude and lacking features, but it is functional and more importantly - it is visual. It will undoubtedly save me a lot of time compared to my previous plan to edit the scenes using a spreadsheet.
