TLDR: Combat Arena pre-release version is available for download! Development continues until final release.

Making a game is tough. Making a game on your own is even tougher. Progress can be consistent but the pace is never fast enough because there are no separate departments progressing in parallel.

Another disadvantage of working solo is the lack of opportunity to bounce ideas off teammates and get informed constructive feedback and mutual encouragement. The onus is on you to stay inspired and motivated, and not get demoralized as you spend enormous amount of time and problem-solving effort on things that may not eventually be appreciated by others.

I had originally wanted to complete my next mini-game 2 months ago, and now, 2 months later, I'm still not done (but not for lack of trying) :(

Regardless, I have decided to upload the pre-release version for people who might be interested to play and provide feedback, so I can continue to learn and work towards the ultimate goal of creating a mini 3D action RPG.
