Status update


Just a quick development status update which hopefully provides an idea why it's taking so long to complete the Arena mini-game:

  • NPC conversations are now non-modal and flow more naturally compared to the system used in the Pandora Puzzle
  • Improved UI/UX look, feel and function
  • Added proper indoor lighting with some interactivity
  • The mech had problems walking in a straight line sometimes (due to glitches with Unity's NavMesh path calculation) which needed to be bypassed
  • Unexpected and cryptic AABB errors with the physics system which took a while to figure out and fix

To do:

  • Improve mech mission gameplay
  • Replace stand-in geometry with proper models
  • Add textures and FX
  • Add more interactive elements
