Status update

Full-time job is taking up a lot of my time, but I'm still developing whenever I can.

A recent hard disk crash meant I lost a fair bit of progress, but  gave me a chance to rethink my approach. While not exactly restarting from scratch, I've opted to re-do my character controller, ditching physics for custom collision detection, and overcoming a severe limitation of previous versions - verticality!

Now the player character can jump platforms and climb vertical surfaces, adding much more flexibility and possibility to gameplay and level design, and making traversal more enjoyable! Current work in progress is still buggy as hell, but I'm happy with the direction it's going.
