Character art iteration 2
Trying to produce quality art is time consuming, especially when I'm still learning new techniques and new tools.
While looking for a way to smooth my pen strokes I discovered Krita, which is a free and open source digital painting program with brush stabilizers. It is quite comparable to Photoshop in terms of the tools I use frequently, so switching over is not much of an issue.
I spent half a day re-tracing the line art, developing a Krita workflow, looking at drawing tutorials and coming up with two iterative version.
I'm happy that I can now draw long flowing lines more smoothly using slower strokes thanks to the stabilizer tools ^^;
Krita is awesome and I'll be using it as my main painting tool from now on.
Next up, learning to improve my color and shading skills.
