Worldbuilding


It's been weeks since the last devlog, so here's a tidbit screenshot to show that progress is being made. There's still a lot of dressing up to be done to this exterior scene, but even with placeholder assets you should get an idea of the kind of look I'm going for.

This is a near-futuristic scene (still within this century).  so most things will be based on current technology trends instead of fantasy science. 

Development time is being spent between formulating new mechanics and designing the game world. environment, story and characters. Since I'm working alone and still learning a lot of things, it's going to take some time to work everything  out.

What is our character doing here? Surely it has to do with that high-rise building with the gigantic doorway?
